An insight into the day-to-day life of young girls in Palestine, during the second Intifada.
Documentary about a video workshop with 16 girls (age 13-17) in Jenin/Palestine. The workshop was organised by the Goethe-Institut and the Jenin Municipality, and took place in July 2004. Duration: 14 days.
German Filmmaker Frieder Schlaich was the teacher of the workshop. He was accompanied by Palestinian filmmaker Nahed Awwad and his friend the cameraman Thomas Mauch (Best know for his work with Werner Herzog).
The film documents the workshop und the families of the girls and shows the results: nine surprisingly open, personal, short films. (Dokumentary: 60min, short films: 32min)
